Project Description
The main objective of the project is to enhance resilience of urban development in Suna-mganj Municipality through inclusive, gender responsive disaster management and risk informed development. As per requirement of irrigation management improvement of the project, the consultant will undertake the following major activities:
Detail survey (plot to plot) for the ward 2,4 and 5 of the municipality and an overall survey for major physical feature for whole municipality; Identify earthquake as well as other haz-ard prone locations and conduct risk assessment for municipality, Prepare Earthquake Sensitive Land use plan, Land use Mapping, Development of baseline data set includes the activities of an earthquake sensitive land use planning focus group (ESLUPFG) , Situ-ation Analysis, Strategy Formulation and Land Use Planning, Policy and Institutional Ar-rangement, Detail map with potential uses, recommendations compatible for earthquake risk sensitive data preparation, Preparation of plan and report with implementation guide-line.
